Wine Review #4 - Part 2: Shiraz?! jam jar 2009, Peter Lehmann Clancy's 2006.
My name is Matthew Harrison, and I'm a college student from Massachusetts and a lover of wine, ale, and Scotch. In my fourth video review, I decided to go into a scary, scary world of unknowns. I'm after the Shiraz grape, and along the way I find myself in South Africa and Australia, opening screwtops along the way. Eek! I try out South Africa's jam jar 2009 Sweet Shiraz, which is a very sweet wine packaged in a bottle made to look like a jar of jam. I then check out Peter Lehmann's Clancy's 2006 Shiraz blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, and while I find some very interesting flavors, I find that THIS WINE NEEDS DECANTING. Stay tuned for a short review later as I revisit this wine in the decanter.
